Important Graduation Update!

🎓☀️ Pleasant Valley Innovative School Graduation Update ☀️🎓 Due to beautiful weather in the forecast, our 2026 High School Graduation Ceremony will take place OUTDOORS on the campus of Pleasant Valley Innovative School! 📍 Location: 273 Harris St, Chatsworth, GA 30705 📅 Date: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 🕕 Time: 6:00 PM This is truly something to celebrate! Because we are able to host the ceremony outside, each graduate may invite up to 13 guests to share in this special evening. We look forward to honoring the hard work, resilience, and accomplishments of the Class of 2026 under the open sky with our Pioneer family and community. 🎓✨

Did you know that Pleasant Valley Innovative has the world's very best Assistant Principal? Mrs. Summey loves on and cares for every person in our building! She's super hard working and gives all of her heart for our school! We appreciate her every day, but especially during Assistant Principal Appreciation Day! Thank you for all you do!

PVIS Senior Parents- We have exciting news about our Graduation Ceremony! Call 706-517-5355 with any questions.

PVIS Families- our school had a fire alarm this morning. Our local fire department has come to address the concern and has cleared our building as safe. The source was found to be malfunctioning equipment and there was no fire or smoke present. We have resumed our regular schedule and appreciate the quick responses by all students, staff, and our community partners.

Senior Parents: please email 4 pictures of your senior to include in our Graduation Celebration to pvismedia@murray.k12.ga.us. These pictures can be baby, school age, or recent and will be on display. Please make sure to include the name of the senior and your name as well. We are excited to be planning now for the Big Day!

Brace yourselves for some excitement! Pleasant Valley staff and students have been hard at work doing what we do best- completing courses and graduating students! Be on the lookout for lots of celebrations, as the past few weeks have been busy, busy, busy! We have many more working hard to be our next graduates. These are life-changing moves, and we are so proud of their hard work!

PVIS Senior Families- Please plan to attend!

PVIS Families! We made it! Tomorrow, 12/19/25, is a half day of school! Buses will load at 10:30 am and car riders will dismiss right after. Please make arrangements for your student to head home by 10:45. Please join me in thanking the PVIS teachers and staff for working so hard with our students this semester. Your child is a gift and we are grateful for our time with them!

PVIS Families of Seniors! Come at 6pm on Jan 12 to the Pleasant Valley auditorium to get information about the spring deadlines and tasks to complete. Check on your student's progress, how many classes they have remaining, and how they are doing in those classes. Cap and Gown forms will be available and we will be ready to receive payments. The end of their last year is coming quickly! Let's get ready to celebrate!

Our proud Pleasant Valley 11th and 12th grade students went on a field trip to the Skilled Trade & Career Expo in Dalton today! They learned about many career paths that can have exciting earning potential without requiring a college degree. Thank you to the GA District 14 offices for coordinating this opportunity for our students!
